We
are now looking for enthusiastic individuals who want to be part of
the effort of helping other Chinese students, broadening the social
impact the Chinese student body has on the larger UCLA community, and
simply add joy to the lives of many.
Besides
doing meaningful work, you will also gain invaluable experience and
have fun while working with others.
We
have many positions available, and would like to welcome anyone who
is willing to contribute ideas and hard work. Please let
us know (cssa@ucla.edu) if you are interested.
Here
are the positions that we are calling for volunteers
Self-nominees, for the Interim President position 2003-2004, and for President 2004-2005
Because this year (2003) we received no self-nomination for Presidency, we could
not have an open election. As a result, Zhenyu Liu, who have served
as the President from 2001-2002, will take on an Interim President position
at the beginning of 2003-2004. This is a temporary arrangement. The Interim President position of '03-'04 is
still kept open for all responsible, capable and devoted CSSA members. In the meantime, to conform with our by-law,
we are also calling for self-nominees for the President position of 2004-2005!
